Through the Internal Auditor Recruitment and Development. THIS IS A SEPARATE PROCESS FROM THE FINANCIAL OFFICER RECRUITMENT AND DEVELOPMENT.Internal audit - Wikipedia. Internal auditing is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations. It helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Professionals called internal auditors are employed by organizations to perform the internal auditing activity. The scope of internal auditing within an organization is broad and may involve topics such as an organization's governance, risk management and management controls over: efficiency/effectiveness of operations (including safeguarding of assets), the reliability of financial and management reporting. Internal auditing may also involve conducting proactive fraud audits to identify potentially fraudulent acts; participating in fraud investigations under the direction of fraud investigation professionals, and conducting post investigation fraud audits to identify control breakdowns and establish financial loss. Internal auditors are not responsible for the execution of company activities; they advise management and the Board of Directors (or similar oversight body) regarding how to better execute their responsibilities. The Intern Officer Development Program. The Intern Officer Development Program; The Financial Officer and Internal Auditor. Recruitment and Development. Other designations are available in certain countries. There are also a number of other international standard setting bodies. Internal auditors work for government agencies (federal, state and local); for publicly traded companies; and for non- profit companies across all industries. Internal auditing departments are led by a Chief Audit Executive (. It is conceptually similar in many ways to financial auditing by public accounting firms, quality assurance and banking compliance activities. While some of the audit technique underlying internal auditing is derived from management consulting and public accounting professions, the theory of internal auditing was conceived primarily by Lawrence Sawyer (1. However, the focus by internal audit departments of publicly traded companies on SOX related financial policy and procedures derailed progress made by the profession in the late 2. Larry Sawyer's vision for internal audit. Beginning in about 2. IIA once again began advocating for the broader role internal auditing should play in the corporate arena, in keeping with the IPPF's philosophy. Professional internal auditors are mandated by the IIA standards to be independent of the business activities they audit. This independence and objectivity are achieved through the organizational placement and reporting lines of the internal audit department. Internal auditors of publicly traded companies in the United States are required to report functionally to the board of directors directly, or a sub- committee of the board of directors (typically the audit committee), and not to management except for administrative purposes. The required organizational independence from management enables unrestricted evaluation of management activities and personnel and allows internal auditors to perform their role effectively. Although internal auditors are part of company management and paid by the company, the primary customer of internal audit activity is the entity charged with oversight of management's activities. This is typically the Audit Committee, a sub- committee of the Board of Directors. Organizational independence is effectively achieved when the chief audit executive reports functionally to the board. Examples of functional reporting to the board involve the board. Under the COSO Framework, internal control is broadly defined as a process, effected by an entity's board of directors, management, and other personnel, designed to provide reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of the following core objectives for which all businesses strive: Effectiveness and efficiency of operations. Reliability of financial and management reporting. Compliance with laws and regulations. Safeguarding of Assets. Management is responsible for internal control, which comprises five critical components: the control environment; risk assessment; risk focused control activities; information and communication; and monitoring activities. Managers establish policies, processes, and practices in these five components of management control to help the organization achieve the four specific objectives listed above. Internal auditors perform audits to evaluate whether the five components of management control are present and operating effectively, and if not, provide recommendations for improvement. In the United States, internal auditors may assist management with compliance with the Sarbanes- Oxley Act (SOX). Role in risk management. Risk management is the process by which an organization identifies, analyzes, responds, gathers information about, and monitors strategic risks that could actually or potentially impact the organization's ability to achieve its mission and objectives. Under the COSO enterprise risk management (ERM) Framework, an organization's strategy, operations, reporting, and compliance objectives all have associated strategic business risks - the negative outcomes resulting from internal and external events that inhibit the organization's ability to achieve its objectives. Management assesses risk as part of the ordinary course of business activities such as strategic planning, marketing planning, capital planning, budgeting, hedging, incentive payout structure, credit/lending practices, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, legislative changes, conducting business abroad, etc. Sarbanes- Oxley regulations require extensive risk assessment of financial reporting processes. Corporate legal counsel often prepares comprehensive assessments of the current and potential litigation a company faces. Internal auditors may evaluate each of these activities, or focus on the overarching process used to manage risks entity- wide. For example, internal auditors can advise management regarding the reporting of forward- looking operating measures to the Board, to help identify emerging risks; or internal auditors can evaluate and report on whether the board and other stakeholders can have reasonable assurance the organization's management team has implemented an effective enterprise risk management program. In larger organizations, major strategic initiatives are implemented to achieve objectives and drive changes. As a member of senior management, the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) may participate in status updates on these major initiatives. This places the CAE in the position to report on many of the major risks the organization faces to the Audit Committee, or ensure management's reporting is effective for that purpose. The internal audit function may help the organization address its risk of fraud via a fraud risk assessment, using principles of fraud deterrence. Internal auditors may help companies establish and maintain Enterprise Risk Management processes. In these latter two areas, internal auditors typically are part of the risk assessment team in an advisory role. Role in corporate governance. According to COSO's ERM framework, governance is the policies, processes and structures used by the organization. The internal auditor is often considered one of the . This may include reporting critical management control issues, suggesting questions or topics for the Audit Committee's meeting agendas, and coordinating with the external auditor and management to ensure the Committee receives effective information. In recent years, the IIA has advocated more formal evaluation of Corporate governance, particularly in the areas of board oversight of enterprise risk, corporate ethics, and fraud. Audit project selection or . This focus or prioritization is part of the annual/multi- year Audit Planning. The audit plan is typically proposed by the CAE (sometimes with several options or alternatives) for the review and approval of the Audit Committee or Board of Directors. Internal auditing activity is generally conducted as one or more discrete assignments. Internal audit execution. This includes objectives, measurements, and key transaction types. This involves review of documents and interviews. Flowcharts and narratives may be created if necessary. Describe the key risks facing the business activities within the scope of the audit. Identify management practices in the five components of control used to ensure each key risk is properly controlled and monitored. Internal Audit Checklist. Internal audit departments maintain a follow- up database for this purpose. Audit assignment length varies based on the complexity of the activity being audited and Internal Audit resources available. Many of the above steps are iterative and may not all occur in the sequence indicated. In addition to assessing business processes, specialists called Information Technology (IT) Auditors review Information technology controls. Internal audit reports. An audit report may have an executive summary; a body that includes the specific issues or findings identified and related recommendations or action plans; and appendix information such as detailed graphs and charts or process information. Each audit finding within the body of the report may contain five elements, sometimes called the ? The standard may be a company policy or other benchmark. Cause: Why did the problem occur? Consequence: What is the risk/negative outcome (or opportunity foregone) because of the finding? Corrective action: What should management do about the finding? Boost is a set of libraries for the C++ programming language that provide support for tasks and structures such as linear algebra, pseudorandom number generation, multithreading, image processing, regular expressions, and unit testing. It contains over eighty individual libraries. Most of the Boost libraries are licensed under the Boost Software License, designed to allow Boost to be used with both free and proprietary software projects. Many of Boost's founders are on the C++ standards committee, and several Boost libraries have been accepted for incorporation into both the C++ Technical Report 1 and the C++1. They range from general- purpose libraries like the smart pointer library, to operating system abstractions like Boost File. System, to libraries primarily aimed at other library developers and advanced C++ users, like the template metaprogramming (MPL) and domain- specific language (DSL) creation (Proto). In order to ensure efficiency and flexibility, Boost makes extensive use of templates. Boost has been a source of extensive work and research into generic programming and metaprogramming in C++. Some Boost libraries coexist as independent libraries. Author of several books on C++, Nicolai Josuttis contributed the Boost array library in 2. There are mailing lists devoted to Boost library use and library development, active as of 2. Overview of utility classes from the Boost library. Utility classes are necessary in almost any C++ project of reasonable dimensions, but there is no standard way to approach this requirement. Often, teams code utility classes according to their requirements but with important pieces of the interface missing, thereby making it impossible for other project teams in the same organization to reuse the classes. The recommended Standard Template Library (STL) has only a few basic classes like hash, stack, and vector, so it can't effectively be used to replace legacy utility libraries. This article introduces several of the Boost utility classes, including tuple, static. You need some understanding of the standard STL to get the most from this article. All the code in this article has been tested using Boost 1. The boost: :tuple class. Sometimes you want a C++ function to return multiple values that are unrelated. The pre- STL way of doing this was to either make a struct of all the unrelated variables and return them or pass the arguments to the function as pointers or references - - but neither approach was a clean method that expressed programmer intent. The STL introduced pair, which you can use to aggregate unrelated pieces of data, but it can handle only two data objects at a time. To use a tuple of int, char, and float, you return a pair as follows. Enter the Boost tuple type. To use boost: :tuple, you must include the header file tuple. To perform tuple comparisons and tuple I/O, you need to include tuple. Creating a Boost tuple and printing the contents#include < iostream>. Note that the < < operator is overloaded for std: :ostream so that a tuple is output by dumping each individual tuple element. Key facts related to tuples. It's important to keep the following facts in mind when you're working with tuples: The number of elements that can form a tuple is currently limited to 1. Tuples may contain user- defined class types, but you must take care to ensure that the classes have proper constructors and copy constructors defined. Listing 2 shows a piece of code that results in a compile- time error because the copy constructor is private. Classes used with tuples must have proper copy constructors#include < tuple. To return a tuple from a function, you must invoke make. It's possible to create a tuple with temporary elements; the output from Listing 3 is (4 0). This routine has two variants, as shown in Listing 4. Note that it's also possible to set individual elements of a tuple using the get routine, although some compilers may not support this feature. Using the boost: :get routine #include < tuple. Assignments can't be made to the element thus accessed (see Listing 5). Tuples declared with the const qualifier may not be modified#include < tuple. Comparing tuples of unequal lengths results in a compile- time error. The operators work by comparing each individual element of the two participating tuples from left to right (see Listing 6). Relational operators with tuples#include < tuple. Note that if instead of string or int, you used a random user- defined class that didn't have the operators ==, !=, and so on defined, the result would be a compilation error. Back to top. Boost static assertions. Assertions are part of defensive programming in C/C++. The most common usage is as follows. The assert routine is valid only in debug mode. In release mode, when code is typically compiled with the preprocessor macro –DNDEBUG, the effect is as if the assert doesn't exist. Static assertions build on this basic concept, except that static assertions are valid only at compile time. In addition, static assertions don't generate any code. For example, suppose you do some bit manipulation in an integer variable and expect it. This may not be the case on all operating system platforms (see Listing 7). Using Boost static assertions to verify the size of variables#include < boost/static. No compiler- specific option like DNDEBUG is required, and you don't need to provide a library to the linker - - the lone header is sufficient. If the assertion is valid, the code compiles smoothly. But if the assumption is invalid, as may be the case with some 6. A typical message when compiling with g++- 3. In function `int main()'. STATIC. Here are some typical real- world situations in which you should consider using a static assertion: Bounds checking of statically declared arrays Validating the size of primary and user- defined variables. Allowing a template class or function to be instantiated with only certain data types. Behavior of Boost static assertions. You can use Boost static assertions in a class, function, or namespace scope; you can also use them with templates. The examples in Listing 8 clarify the concepts. Using Boost static assertions to limit class instantiations#include < iostream>. In the case of an unsigned long, the is. The code ensures that the types handled in function f. A or derivatives thereof. By using Boost's static assert macro and is. Restricting functions to handle only specific data types#include < iostream>. Typically, srand uses a new seed value to initialize rand (see Listing 1. Code to generate random numbers in traditional UNIX#include < stdlib. To understand what srand does, compile Listing 1. When you do, you'll observe that rand isn't really random - - the executable prints the same set of values every time. To introduce randomness into the code, you use srand, which initializes rand with a seed value. Because the value of time is different each time the program is invoked, the code prints different values for separate invocations. Use the Boost random- number generators. The Boost random- number generators are located in the boost/random folder. In addition, for the sake of convenience, the random. The Boost random interface is divided into two parts: a random- number generator and a distribution within which the random number must lie. This article discusses the uniform. Listing 1. 1 uses the uniform. Listing 1. 2 uses another engine: kreutzer. Listing 1. 2: Combining the uniform. Back to top. Overview of the boost: :pool library. The Boost pool library introduces tools that you can use for fast memory allocation. Proper alignment of memory chunks is guaranteed. According to the Boost documentation, pool usage is recommended when you're allocating and deallocating many small objects. Another less obvious benefit of using pools is that as a programmer, you don't have to worry about memory leaks: they're automatically managed internally by the Boost library. To use the pool library, you don't have to provide specific libraries at link time - - the header files alone get the job done. Multiple interfaces are available for the pool library: Pool interface - - A vanilla interface that works as a malloc alternative. To use this interface, include the pool. Object pool interface - - An object- aware interface that calls the constructor. You. can also create vanilla objects without calling their constructors using this. The definitions are provided in the object. Listing 1. 3 introduces the pool and object. Note the following: The pool interface needs to know the size of each individual element and not the type, because it's a malloc- style allocator and doesn't call constructors. The malloc routine from the pool interface returns a void*. The object- pool interface needs the type information, because constructors are called. The malloc/construct routine from the object- pool interface returns a pointer to the type. The malloc routine doesn't call the constructor, but construct does. The scope of the elements created using either the pool interface or the object- pool interface is the same as that of the pool from which they're created. To release memory from the pool interface, call the purge. It frees every memory block you created earlier and invalidates all the pointers returned from the allocator routines. To free individual elements, call the free routine from the pool interface. For example, if t is the pool created using the pool interface and m is a pointer allocated from t, then t. The underlying structure of a singleton pool has static member functions declared for malloc, free, and so on, and the constructor is private. The first parameter in the singleton declaration is known as a tag - - it allows different sets of singleton pools to exist (for example, multiple pools for int, each of which serves a different purpose). You must include the singleton. Consider the following snippet. The first is a general- purpose allocation and can serve requests for any number of contiguous chunks. The result is maintenance overhead down the line. Listing 1. 5 details the use of boost: :program. This is the standard template recommended for use in your code. Listing 1. 5. Listing 1. The options. In this case, the help option doesn't require any arguments, but the file option requires a string argument. The store and notify methods help store the data within the vmap object. When you check whether help is the relevant command option for the program (this is what vmap. This implies that operator < < is defined for the options. For example, here's a. For example, to retrieve the argument to file, you can call vmap. In addition, you often must use an option multiple times so that all of the option's arguments are collected. For example, you may want to use –h and –help to print the available commands. Listing 1. 6 illustrates these features. Using a shorter option variant and allowing for multiple invocations of command options#include < string>. Note that the longer option (help) must precede the shorter option (h) for the code to work properly. Instead of a single string, the file option is now defined with a vector of strings. If the –file option is specified multiple times, then all the arguments to the command option collected across specifications are stored in the associated vector< string>. Rapala’s X- Pro. They feature a 3 layer breathable construction, all over, with no reinforced knees or any additional features. Looks, and feels perfect to me. Checked them, and double checked them when I finally got my hands around them, and they seemed perfect, even though I didn’t really fell for the color. Never bothered to read the instructions. Everything seemed to fit in perfectly at first glance. After getting to use them for a while I started detecting all sort of things. The suspenders were loosening every time I went fishing with them. Sometimes this was uncomfortable, especially during summer days when I had nothing than a t- shirt on. The suspenders kept loosening every hour. It’s probably from the way I walk ). If I was well dressed, meaning some type of clothing over the suspenders, or a backpack, then the loosening was happening a tad slower, and wasn’t that noticeable or uncomfortable. Nice to be dry for a few relaxing moments. The belt was well designed, and I’d say better designed than other brand waders of the more expensive sort. I liked the fact it had straps for the belt from back to front. It keeps the belt in place. Now lets get wet and sweaty, and see how their waterproofness and breathability goes. On my first fishing trip I’d have to say I didn’t notice a thing, but that’s probably because I was fishing in not more than 1. Honestly I’ve fished them on rare occasions, probably 3- 4 times/year, and didn’t quite got the feel of them until this year, when we were fishing in Northern Sweden, Kiruna area. Where all we did for 7 days was trout fishing in our waders. On the first day of expedition I’ve found out they weren’t that waterproof after all and this only in about 1- 2 hours of fishing. They seemed to be letting in water in the knee area, and in the pelvic area, bot front and back. The areas that were most prone to stress and tear. This is probably why higher quality, and more expensive waders had reinforced these parts of the wading suit. It wasn’t water pouring in, but you could see my “insulating” trousers were damp in these areas, and didn’t really make me feel good, considering I’d be doing this for the next 7 days at least 8 hours a day. First day dinner - grayling. Which the passing of each day I was getting to know my waders better and better, but not in a good way. The 3mm neoprene socks weren’t that waterproof either, as everyday my socks were humid inside, and not from perspiration. I doubt that I could get that humid from sweating, considering the temperatures outside. Their breathable qualities probably were there, but I couldn’t feel them working for me. All the sweat was trapped inside, when having to hike from a fishing spot to another. Stefan didn’t seem to be that bothered with his waders, at least not in this matter (he was using a more expensive pair of waders). This was a problem, because sweat that was trapped inside my waders made the cold water feel even “better”. This and the “waterproof” abilities of my waders. Waders had to withstand a lot of battering amongst the rocky underwater terrain. You remember I told you that my waders were equipped with a repair kit? Well they do come with a repair kit, and couldn’t be bothered that I tarred my waders, when my left knee hit a boulder after slipping on it. In the same day a treble punctures Stefan’s waders as well, and told him: “Don’t worry. What I didn’t know was that the repair kit was meant to be used at home, with an IRON. I couldn’t believe what my eyes were reading. You can only tare, or puncture your waders when fishing. Consider you are (as we were) in a remote area, where you can only be picked up by helicopter, with no electricity or phone signal. We finally came up with a solution. We’ll use the kerosene tent warmer. The top is hot enough. No chance of using it. Luckily there was just enough vulcanization strip to use on my knee. You could iron this on without the additional glue. Just my luck I’d say, because after the repair the water leak was stopped, and could at least fish the rest of the trip. Moving from one spot to the other we encountered swampy areas. Moving from one spot to the other we encountered rocky and shruby areas. If the kit wasn’t meant to be used easily without electrical appliance I’d rather not get it with the waders, at least like that I’d know I needed something in that matter, just in case something happened, and needed repair on the spot. Water pressure on my waders. I didn’t check other waders repair kits. Stefan’s waders only had vulcanization inseams and a few material patches for repair. No glue, no instructions. Maybe it’s just me, but it just doesn’t feel right to not be able to do anything about your broken waders on the water. I can repair an Inflatable boat on the spot if ever faced with the challenge, but you have to iron a lousy patch to repair a pair of waders. This seems close to BS to me. Waist deep water all day long. Waist deep water all day long - if you wanted to get where the fish were. Other than that . Not terrific but did their job, for the last time I believe. They perform well if you don’t plan on using them extensively, or for long hours. Durability. Durability is not it’s strongest point. The waders permit water infiltration in some key areas after a few uses. And they seem to tare much easier than higher quality waders. They seem to holdup to walking thru bushy areas very well. Price. If you want an affordable pair of waders, this is the way to go, as the price can’t get any better than this. They are quite good looking at this price tag. Overall. 7. 6. Conclusion: What you pay is what you get is a wise saying. You will never be able to buy quality stuff cheap. This has been proven time and time again. In case anyone wonders. The waders have never been washed, only lightly cleaned, so they should’ve been as new. The waterproof- breathable material isn’t so waterproof or breathable after all, but it gets the job done, if that’s the only thing you want. The material isn’t the most durable, but I didn’t expect that from a 1. The 3mm neoprene socks aren’t waterproof either. Everyday on the trip when back to base camp they were damp inside. If asked if I would ever buy these waders again. I like the fact that they come with a bag, for easy transportation, in which they can dry out pretty well if you leave them in a well vented area. Em terms of operational capacity, a weapon with great precision does not have an effective range as large, with very long effective range does not have much firepower and much firepower does not get much scope or precis. O Chey. Tac M2. 00 contains the three attributes together, not considering that a weapons system, 7. Lapua or. 5. 0 BMG are not accurate, effective range and firepower satisfactory, but only the M2. Ask any one who knows what they are talking about and they will tell you the same thing. The Barret may be more powerful but when you compare versatility and weight and accuracy of the two the cheytac wins every time all the Barret has is power and range with good accuracy but the intervention is way more accurate even Chris Kyle said he dislikes the 5. Cal. V4. 4 Comments. Dragunov SVDOnce again soviet made. Reliable, stable and a great sniper rifle. The svd sniper rifle is still used now. There is no question about it. Built by the Soviet Union, it is bound to be reliable, strong and an accurate weapon. The svd is like the sniper version of the ak 4. If someone were to face against you with an svd, I would suggest to hide your your wife and children because its a heck of a gun. Once again, the svd is the best there is.. In my opinion! This is a legendary sniper rifle, it has a good range for such an outdated rifle and can still hold its own against many modern sniper rifles. Mother Russia is very proud. V2. 5 Comments. 4Mosin- Nagat (Scoped)Probably one of the toughest and most accurate military rifles ever. I have two 9. 1/3. I hand- load a variety of different loads and I have yet to find one that the rifles won't group well with. This rifle was designed to be accurate and tough. Length of service, and a stand out long range shooter in it's time. Mosins still factor in long range rifle competitions today. I have one of these, and a Finn with the slightly longer barrel, both go toe to toe with modern bolt rifles. Wonderful Rifle well made Durable long barreled and with care last forever. Accuracy for a Rifle Made in 1. I put a Scope Rail over the open Sight and A Leupold Scope. I have no trouble grouping 5 rounds within A 1- 2 Inch Circle at 1. Yrds The Best $1. I Ever Spent I have since bought 2 more for myself and 1 each for my brother and Son for Birthday Presents lets just say come deer season the tags get easily filled and soft tip ammo is available and very accurate at ranges to 1. WW2 Gun History Also mine came with Bayonets a plus for Collectors who want a Useful piece of history. The confirmed kills speak for themselves with this rifle. Record setting snipers and marksman throughout the course of time have etched their names in the history books using this weapons system. The soviet union didn't get many things right. However when it came to the battle rifle, there hardly is no equal. V2. 0 Comments. 5M4. Hundreds of dead Tangos can't be wrong. Thanks to the snipers and designated marksmen who have been trained and are proficient with these systems. Semper Fi and thank you. I use this weapon in Afghanistan as a Marine, and it is the best I have ever used, and is more accurate than all other weapons on this list.. I have used them all. Its very simple as in the rifle is simply a rifle it is designed as a sniper rifle accurate with enough power to drop any target, and it is reliable and even if it does jam its very easy to fix, not that a marksman's rifle would ever jam as they are very well maintained. Way too good this gun is awesome! V1. 3 Comments. 6Scoped Springfield Rifle. A classic World War 2 sniper rifle that surely one of the bestof all time. He still has it and let me shoot it a few times. One word: awesome. All around the best Id put this one up against all of them in lreal theater conditions. V3 Comments. 7Accuracy International L9. A1. The legendary bolt- action sniper rifle used by the british military. Should be in the the top ten! It's a real precision rifle. For instances the barret is not a sniper rifle. It's an anti- materiel weapon. The dragunov can't hit a head at 3. The only rifles that deserve to be on the top ten are the m. Hard to choose but in all round stats this is the best sniper rifle to have. Everything else excels at something and usually fails otherwise but you can't go wrong with this beauty. You can't beat it very accurate and has fantastic stopping power. V1. 7 Comments. 8Mc. Millan Tac- 5. 0Hard to choose one, as each of these guns are great rifles and unique in their own way. The Tac- 5. 0, though, is a great gun and currently holds the world record for longest kill at 2, 6. A sniper rifle is meant to kill at long range, so my vote goes here. This gun ain't just good, it's amazing. Thumbs up if your from Canada! Accuracies and powerful sniper rifle. Used it its worth it. V4 Comments. 9Walther WA 2. WA2. 00. 0 is the best sniper rifle ever made. Light years before its time. Not many produced because of its high dollar cost. More than 3. 0 after the WA2. Walther already knew about the. Win Mag. That was the main caliber the WA2. Now they are fetching more than $7. Without question. More R& D dollars were spent on the WA2. It was built from the ground up as a sniper rifle and was a total departure from any other rifle ever designed. The only issue was the WA2. Walther has two versions of the WA2. First version had problems with the gas system, fluted barrel and flash hider, The second and more desirable version was a Hugh improvement and vastly more accurate. They did away with the fluted barrel, improved the gas system and flash hider. Making the WA2. 00. Since the WA2. 00. Win. Mag, No other sniper rifle in this caliber to date comes close. Anything on her business end is going to meet their maker at extreme ranges to boot. This is a great sniper rifle for long range. Better than the R- 7. Good for sniping in combat and a little shorter than the M8. Barret 5. 0 CAL. Used by many military's around the world; the Finns know a thing or two about making sniper rifles, regarded as one of the best along with the accuracy international. Not as affordable as a R7. I just got it and I hit all target straight out of the box with a night force scope. Silk action and comfort shooting deadly accurate rifle sako trg. I own trg. 22. V4 Comments. The Contenders. 11. Barret M9. 8BThe Barrett Model 9. B in my opinion is one if not in the top ten best accurate sniper rifle system in the world up to date. It has flawless precision up to 1. When it comes to accurate shots at long range targets this S- R delivers. The reason to that is the design of the weapon Barrett manufactuers and designers nailed it by making the weapon bolt action. Yes I like to have that option of semi- automatic fire when you are shooting at multiple targets but most semi- auto rifles aren't as reliable in accuracy do to the kick or recoil of the weapon. As every true compition shooters or weapons experts know, reduce the recoil increase the accuracy. This can back fire badly if the system is not put correctly, but if you design the ammuntion to level out the gases in the chamber and barrel of the weapon it should work out perfectly. Sounds easy but its a lot of hard work to prefect the pefect or close to perfect weapon in this case the Barrett Model 9. B should take the spot in top ten .. Probably the best replacement, or equal to the Barret 5. Although it is bolt action, it's muzzle velocity is high and it looks good. I believe that this sniper rifle DESERVES to be number 2 or even number 1. This the most accurate tool I've ever used. Once it's dialed in there isn't much that throws the shot once you let it go. My only complaint being that there is a lot of induced movement and dust from the muzzle break which makes it a challenge to stay hidden after you take the shot. But then again, with the Bravo, you only need one shot. I think the best sniper rifles (bolt action) are made by Barrett. The M9. 8b is the best sniper rifle and one of the most accurate sniper rifles in my opinion. I say put it number 2 to 4 on list. V1. 0 Comments. 12. M1. 10the biggest isn't the best (m. It's 7. 6. 2x. 51mm round can blow off a head at 7. Also it's a version of the proven M4/M1. PSG 1. A good looking, good handling, good shooting 3. Call of Duty as well - lolipop. Great all around work a day unit accurate reliable and relatively quiet gets the job done with no muss or fuss. Favorite of many Anti- terrorism forces. It sets the standard. V1 Comment. 14. Mosin- Nagant M9. PU Sniper. I have one of these and it is such a great gun. Tough as nails, high powered, accurate, et cetera. They're really affordable too! An amazing gun. V3 Comments. M- 2. 1Great rife, dependable and accurate. Being semi auto its easier to get that all important second shot if needed at the original target or a secondary target. It's actually an M1. EBR which stands for Enhanced Battle Rifle. It was first used in action but the US Navy SEALS. It is now the preferred Semi Automatic sniper rifle and used by more military and police forces around the world than any other rifle, including the H^^K G3. This is probably the best sniper in the world. Semi- Automatic, can be used with or without a scoper, powerful, and best of all.. MW2. 16. R7. 00. This is one of the hardest- hitting bolt action sniper rifles, and is a good balance between accuracy, weight and power. KYM SIMS - TAKE MY ADVICE LYRICSKym Sims. Miscellaneous. Take My Advice.
